Asus Unveils Transformer 3 Pro T303UA

Productivity tablets are definitely a thing these days. On one hand we have Apple’s iPad Pro while on the other we have Microsoft’s Surface Pro tablets along with a list of devices that share the same form factor.

Asus Transformer 3 ProA new model to add to this list is the newly announced Asus Transformer 3 Pro T303UA. Unveiled at this year’s COMPUTEX, the Transformer 3 Pro bears the same design language as the Surface 3 Pro with a 12-inch display with a kickstand at the back and a detachable keyboard.

The tablet’s 12.-6-inch LED-backlit display has a resolution of 2880 x 1920 and supports Asus’ Splendid Technology with WideView technology.

Asus has equipped the Transformer 3 Pro with the latest Core processors from Intel and can be had with 16GB LPDDR3 SDRAM and up to 1TB PCIE Gen3X4 SSD. The tablet also comes with a much-improved camera combo – a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing one.

Asus Transformer 3 Pro 2The Transformer 3 Pro also takes it a step higher when it comes to I/O ports. Aside from the combo audio jack and USB Type C port found in the base Transformer 3, this model also has a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port, a Thunderbolt port and even a multi-card reader.

It has the same 2W speaker system and array microphone that also support the company’s SonicMaster Premium audio technology. Wi-Fi ac (with WIDI support) and Bluetooth v4.1 also come as standard.

The Asus Transformer 3 Pro will retail starting at $999 for the base model.
