Asus Transformer 3 Takes on Huawei and Samsung

Part of Asus’ lineup during this year’s Computex are two new 2-in-1 devices that bear the company’s signature Transformer moniker. The first of the two is the Transformer 3 which competes directly against the likes of the Huawei MateBook and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S.

asus-t3.Just like the two devices mentioned above, the Asus Transformer 3 sports the same thin folio design. It has a 12.6-inch LED display with WQHD resolution (2880 x 1920) and Glare Touchscreen with 85% NTSC with WideView technology.

The convertible is powered by Intel’s 7th generation Core processors which will be complimented by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB SATA3 M.2 SSD.

Asus Transformer 3 2Asus has also equipped the Transformer 3 with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP sensor for those who are into taking selfies using a tablet. There are also built-in stereo 2W speakers and array microphone which supports the company’s SonicMaster Premium audio technology.

Other notable features of the Transformer 3 include integrated Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v4.1, a USB Type C port for sync and charge and a 38.5 Whrs polymer battery.

The Asus Transformer 3 will retail starting at $799 for the base model.
