Huawei Outs New Honor Model for the Young Crowd

June 13th, 2016 | by Z. Gonzales

Huawei’s Honor 5X (Huawei GR5) has received a lot of positive feedback thanks to its premium design and budget-friendly price. The phone was specifically intended for mid-range consumers, so Huawei has made a version for entry-level consumers – more specifically, the youth.

Huawei-Honor-5AWhile the devices’ specs sheet are largely similar to each other, Huawei had to cut some corners in order to keep the price within reach of its target audience. For starters, the metal build is now gone and the device reverts back to the use of plastic in its construction. Other departments that took a hit include the selfie camera and the chipset.
