Huawei Honor V8 Arrives with Dual-Camera Setup

Huawei’s Honor sub-brand has just welcomed the Honor V8 into its family. The sub-brand has been lucky to receive some of the technology that Huawei has applied to its own models including the dual-camera setup that was implemented on the recently announced flagship P9.

Huawei Honor V8The phone is built around a 5.7-inch display and this time around, Huawei is giving users an option to have the screen in Full HD or QHD resolution. Users will also be treated with the option to upgrade from a 32GB storage to 64GB.

Performance is delivered by the same Kirin 950 chipset with an octa-core processor.

Huawei Honor V8 backAgain, just like the P9, the Honor V8 is sporting a dual-camera setup, although the cameras on this model are not co-branded with Leica. The two cameras each has a 12MP sensors with a 6-element lens with f/2.2 aperture. On the other hand, the front camera has an 8MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens.

Huawei Honor V8 2In terms of connectivity, the Honor V8 has all the essentials. These include LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The phone also packs a 3500mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Price for the Honor V8 starts at around $350 for the Full HD 32GB version while the higher QHD 64GB variant will sell for around $439.
