Xiaomi Mi Max with 6.44-inch Screen Now Official

Xiaomi’s large-screen phone is now finally official. After spending some time in rumour land and being leaked a couple of times, the Xiaomi Mi Max is now officially out in the open.

Mi Max 1.pngThe phone is packing a 6.44-inch display with Full HD display and is made from a single piece of metal. Xiaomi is offering the Mi Max in three flavors, the cheapest of which is rocking a Snapdragon 650 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The top model is rocking a Snapdragon 652 chip with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both models come equipped with an Adreno 510 GPU, a fingerprint sensor on the back and a 16MP+5MP camera combo.

Mi Max 2.pngThe rear camera has dual-LED flash while the front has an 85-degree wide-angle lens that should be great for selfies. The Mi Max will also be running on the latest version of Android – version 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s MIUI 8 on top.

Xiaomi will be offering the Mi Max in three color options – Silver, Light Grey and Gold. It will be available starting next week for around $230 for the base model and goes up to $300 for the top tier variant.
