May 8th, 2016 | by Z. Gonzales

It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Android tablet let alone a tablet from Acer. Last week, the company announced a refresh of its big tablet – the Iconia Tab 10 which promises a better media consumption experience with its big display and premium sound.

The tablet as you might expect comes with a 10-inch display with Full resolution. The slate is powered by a MediaTek Mt8163 chipset with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

There’s a 5MP camera at the back while a 2MP sensor is located on the front of the device. As a multimedia device, the Iconia Tab 10 is packing DTS-HD Premium Sound technology which is utilized by its four front-facing speakers.

Acer has also installed MiraVision technology on the Iconia Tab 10 which promises to deliver better colors, contrast and sharpness to the device’s 10-inch display.

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 is scheduled to be released in Europe in June for around $260.
